Good evening I mean morning to you!
We just arrived at our hotel in Guangzhou and man is it awesome!!! We are in the executive suite which is nicer then anywhere I've ever stayed. Tall ceilings, beautifully decorated and right in the middle of nothing! We have not had a chance to look around since we got in so late.
We knew our plane was going to be delayed, but no one knew exactly how long it was going to be, so we headed to the airport to wait. We only had to wait for 1 1/2 hours for the "fog" aka pollution to clear up.
It was then up in the air for Kate's first plane ride. She was awesome, not one single cry. Now the flight was only an hour, but she still was awesome. Kate got the most improved baby of the day award. She is night and day from a couple of days ago. She smiles and laughs all the time now. She even cried for Brian when he left the room. Great improvement!
At the new hotel the carpet is clean and new so we are letting her crawl around, but it won't be long till she is walking. She loves to hold your fingers and walk the hallways.

HEY GUYS!!! I'm so glad your getting to see all this cool stuff especially with Kate. I have a little secret.... (kate is way cuter then the other babies on your trip) :-) Im only basing that on the picture when you guys are all eating at the restaurant but whatever she is!!! I'm so glad you guys did this blog cause I've been printing all the pictures you post and putting them in an album. Im also printing 8x10's and putting them on the dig. frame, how could I not, you guys are like the cutest family ever!!! love you guys talk to you when you wake up!

What's just amazing to me is the difference in the pictures. Look at the first sets...Kate looks a little suspicious and a little reserved.
Look at today's. She's a happy, outgoing, secure, and well-loved kid.

I love the fact that I can talk to you. I was afraid that I missed my opportunity today, so glad I was at the store at the right time. Kate gets cuter, happier and more content looking everyday! It is obvious that she is happy with her new family. Wait until she meets the rest of us!!
I totally agree with Jen W....she is way cuter than those others in the picture..but who's comparing?!! She is adorable... and so many smiles that must be so much fun for you guys! Will she smile for me? Start practicing..telling her, her favorite Auntie is Auntie MELISSA!!!
